LIFE IN MOTION
STORY CORNER
My Story: dr Yogita's Journey
My name is Yogita, and my story begins with uncertainty and self-doubt. On the first day of university, I was utterly lost. I didn’t even know where the department was, let alone the classes. When I finally found the department and entered the classroom, I was too shy to talk to anyone. I avoided initiating conversations and remained silent, unsure of how to introduce myself or connect with others. Everything felt so overwhelming.
Adding to the challenge, I didn’t have a phone at that time. This made it hard to stay informed about opportunities or even understand why I was there. What was the purpose? What would I do in the future? Back then, my mind was a complete blank.
The Early Years
During my initial years, I didn’t understand much about Ayurveda, the subject I had chosen. My only goal was to pass the exams. I didn’t have mentors or guides to explain what Ayurveda truly meant. Then came the pandemic. Two years went by without much progress as the world stood still. It wasn’t until my final year that things began to change.
I started studying on my own and slowly began to grasp the concepts. That was a turning point. The more I read, the more I started understanding. It felt empowering to take control of my learning journey.
Internship: A New Perspective
During my internship, I stepped out of the university bubble. I started attending coaching classes under Surendra Sharma Sir, where I met many new people. Each person had a unique way of thinking and offered fresh perspectives. This was very different from university, where we were all confined to similar ideas and rarely discussed studies beyond our small friend groups.
At coaching, I also met a junior who became a good friend. One day, they asked me if I would consider becoming the coordinator for our college. I was hesitant at first. The idea scared me—I wasn’t used to taking on such responsibilities. But a friend of mine encouraged me, explaining that it was an opportunity to build confidence and connect with others. I decided to take the leap.
Missed Opportunities and New Connections
Around the same time, there was a seminar in Lucknow, but due to personal issues, I couldn’t attend. However, I stayed in touch with the Yasharth veda foundation’s director, whom I greatly admired. They were hardworking, respectful, and had a talent for bringing people together. I deeply resonated with their vision and decided to support their foundation. Their determination and ability to value everyone’s contributions left a lasting impression on me.
The Growth
From someone who once feared speaking up, I’ve grown into someone who values opportunities and connections. Each experience, be it studying independently, meeting diverse people, or taking on new roles, has shaped me into a more confident version of myself.
The journey wasn’t smooth, but it taught me the value of perseverance, the power of community, and the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone. Today, I look back and feel proud of how far I’ve come and excited for what lies ahead.
My Story: Dr. Arshpreet Singh Khanna
I am Dr. Arshpreet Singh Khanna, a proud third-generation practitioner of Ayurveda. Born into a family deeply rooted in the ancient healing tradition, my journey in this field was inspired by the remarkable legacies of my father, Dr. Gurmeet Singh Khanna, and my grandfather, Vaidya Diwan Singh Khanna. Both were renowned Ayurveda doctors whose dedication and passion for natural healing left an indelible mark on my life.
As a child, I grew up witnessing the profound impact Ayurveda had on people's lives, thanks to the efforts of my father and grandfather. Their unwavering commitment to helping others sparked a desire within me to carry forward this family tradition, but on a larger scale—one that could touch lives across the globe.
Beginnings and Vision
My journey into Ayurveda began formally during my graduation years. Alongside my academic pursuits, I nurtured a dream to create something transformative. It was during this time that my colleagues and I laid the foundation of LevelUp Marketing Pvt Ltd with just five products. This small beginning marked the first step in what would later become a significant contribution to the field of Ayurveda.
Simultaneously, my grandfather established clinic in the village of Lappo, District Ferozepur, Punjab—a practice that has been serving the community for generations. This clinic symbolizes the roots of our family legacy, where traditional wisdom meets modern therapeutic techniques.
Expanding the Vision
In 2022, I launched the Dkayurveda Clinic in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, with the aim of providing holistic and personalized healthcare. The success of this venture encouraged me to open a second branch in Ferozepur, Punjab, in 2024. Expanding further, I introduced Panchakarma services the same year, bringing authentic Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapies to a wider audience.
What started as a modest initiative with five products has now blossomed into a robust portfolio of over 50 Ayurveda products. These products cater to diverse health needs and embody the essence of Ayurveda—harnessing nature's power to restore balance and harmony.
The Road Ahead
My vision is to elevate Ayurveda to a global scale, blending ancient knowledge with contemporary advancements. Through our clinics, products, and services, I strive to make Ayurvedic healing accessible to all, empowering individuals to embrace wellness in its truest sense.
Every milestone achieved thus far has been a testament to the values instilled in me by my family. As I continue this journey, I remain committed to honoring their legacy while carving a path that inspires future generations of Vaidyas.
This is not just my story but a tribute to the timeless science of Ayurveda and its transformative potential for the world.

The Resilient Journey of Dr. Sagarika Choudhary
From aspiring to join the Air Force to becoming a dedicated Ayurvedic doctor, Dr. Sagarika Choudhary's journey is one of resilience and passion. A state-level badminton and kabaddi player, she initially envisioned a career in the armed forces. However, respecting her parents’ wishes, she pursued medicine and cleared CPMT 2014, earning a seat at Government College, Pilibhit.
Her early days in medical school were challenging, especially with subjects taught in Hindi and Sanskrit, languages she struggled with. Facing setbacks, including a supplementary in Sanskrit during her first year, Dr. Sagarika found unwavering support from her parents. Her mother, a principal, played a pivotal role in guiding her through this phase.
A turning point came when she delved into the history of Ayurveda, discovering its profound connection to the human body. Inspired by her father's diabetes journey, she formulated a unique Ayurvedic treatment combined with lifestyle changes, which delivered remarkable results. This success ignited her confidence and passion for Ayurvedic medicine.
During her internship, the pandemic disrupted conventional learning, prompting her to seek specialized training in Ksharsutra therapy in Ghaziabad. This training solidified her expertise in Ayurveda, particularly in treating anorectal diseases. Despite advice to pursue MS in Gynecology during her AIPGET counseling, she remained firm in her decision to specialize in MS Shalya Tantra, focusing on providing care to female patients who may feel uncomfortable consulting male doctors.
Today, Dr. Sagarika is a practitioner of Ksharsutra therapy, leveraging Ayurveda to treat numerous patients effectively. Her journey reflects a commitment to blending traditional knowledge with modern needs, offering compassionate care and empowering others through the principles of Ayurveda.
